Thuli Table’s philosophy is simple and straight forward. We strive to satisfy our customers by designing and building the highest quality products possible at a fair price. We are privileged to work with talented engineers and craftsmen who possess the necessary skills to make this happen. The vast majority of our orders are through referrals from satisfied customers, as a testament to our company’s philosophy.

Our founder and designer, Rick Thuli, D.C. has listened and responded to the needs of his profession since graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1986. He has dedicated many years to the development of a line of highly functional, extremely durable and aesthetically pleasing adjusting tables and accessories. Rick’s design and engineering expertise, coupled with his first-hand knowledge of chiropractic techniques, has resulted in products that stand in a class of their own!

All of our products are designed and manufactured at our facility in Wisconsin.  For the few component parts that we must outsource, we are proud to purchase them from quality manufacturers located primarily in the USA.

Ordering Information

It’s easy!  We sell directly to you, anywhere in the world (with the exception of our Japanese customers).  Simply contact us by email, telephone or through our website.  For website orders, please note that we do not accept payment online.  When your order is submitted to us, we will reply with a quote, including the shipping cost.  You will then be prompted to contact us with your payment information.

We charge State sales tax for products shipped within Wisconsin, which is where our manufacturing facility is located.  We do not charge State sales tax for products shipped to any other state.  The end user should claim a “use tax” when filing their annual tax return for any products where State sales tax was not applied.
Yes, we ship everywhere in the world!
Please note that our shipping cost does not include import duty and taxes (including VAT, Value-Added Tax).  These fees are calculated and payable at the time of customs clearance.  Every country has its own formula for determining the amount of duty and taxes, based on a percentage of the following factors:  Product value, transportation cost, trade agreements, and Harmonized System (HS) code (which categorizes a product).  Our products have an HS code of 9402.90.00.20.
Our shipping cost does include brokerage fees, with the exception of products shipped with the US Postal Service or UPS Ground Service to Canada (brokerage fees are additional with these forms of shipment).

We offer portable, stationary and elevation tables, all with a variety of options and accessories.  This chart quickly compares the features on all of our tables.  Also check out our demonstration videos on each product page and on our YouTube channel.  Any questions?  We’re here to help!

We offer two styles of portable tables – the Sport and Tour. The following webpage and video will help explain their similarities and differences.

The Caudal Drop section is the largest section on the table, located just distal to the shorter Pelvic Drop section.  It is conveniently located for doing prone pelvic adjusting on taller patients.  It can be also be used for anterior pelvic adjusting with the patient in a supine position (with the headpiece elevated and slightly towards the table for comfort, the patient’s pelvis sits more over the Caudal Drop, rather than the Pelvic Drop).  The Caudal Drop is also used for knee and ankle adjusting. Watch this video for a visual explanation.

The table height is the measurement from the floor to the top of the table’s cushions. We typically recommend a height from the floor to the bottom or middle of your patella, taking into consideration your body proportions, adjusting style and shoes that you typically wear.  This chart and video will assist you in what height is best for you.

Go ahead and put your biggest, heaviest patient on our tables!  We impose no weight restrictions, even on our portable tables.  In fact, they have been used to adjust Olympic weight lifters and professional basketball, baseball, and football athletes since 1986.  These are big guys!  Our Tour Conversion Base and Elevation Tables have a 900 lb weight capacity.  That should do!

Sorry, we only sell new tables. Most of our customers keep them for a long time – if you find a used table for sale, consider yourself lucky!

Elevation Tables are eligible for a significant tax credit under the IRS Disabled Access Tax Credit (Form 8826).   If your previous tax year grossed less than $1,000,000 and you had fewer than 30 full-time employees, you are considered an “eligible small business”.  The tax credit is equal to 50% of the cost of the eligible product (which exceeds $250, but does not exceed $10,250) for a maximum tax credit of $5000/year.

Shipping costs are based on the product ordered and delivery destination.  Please contact us with this information and we will promptly provide you with a shipping quote.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, wire transfers and checks.  Although we do not offer financing, we are happy to work with any leasing company that you employ.

User Questions

Normal day to day soil on the vinyl upholstery can be removed with dish soap and warm water (diluted 1:10), using a soft cloth.  If more cleaning is necessary, use a soft bristle brush with the same 10% solution.  Follow any cleaning with a thorough clean water rinse.  Rinsing is important to clear all chemicals from the vinyl, which could otherwise cause premature deterioration.  Avoid harsh detergents and powdered abrasives.  Areas coming in contact with hair, body oils or perspiration should be washed frequently. Remove stains immediately to prevent the possibility of them becoming permanent.

To disinfect the vinyl upholstery on your table, here are some options:

  1. Bleach:  Dilute 4 tsp bleach in 1 quart of water in spray bottle.  Spray on vinyl and leave for several minutes.
  2. Alcohol (70% min):  Use undiluted.  Leave on for several minutes.
  3. Wipes:  Wipe vinyl thoroughly.

After any of these steps, a clear water rinse will minimize any premature deterioration of the vinyl from extended exposure to chemicals.

In the event of damage, pre-sewn replacement vinyl is available from Thuli Tables for a very reasonable cost.

Pre-sewn vinyl is available for any section on your table.  If you want to change the color of your table, now is the time!  Replacing the vinyl on most of our tables is relatively easy.  If needed, we also have tools available.

Periodic lubrication of the drop mechanisms will ensure smooth, crisp drops.  We recommend that you use 3-IN-ONE oil after about 500 adjustments or once per month, whichever comes first.  If the drops have not been lubricated on a regular basis, we recommend first cleaning the plunger using WD-40, and then applying the 3-IN-ONE oil for lubrication.  See the Care & Maintenance PDF on each product page (located in the Reference tab).

All of our products have been engineered to require very little maintenance and have also been designed so that replacements are relatively easy to do yourself or by a handy friend!

If needed, and with prior authorization, you may also send your product to us for repair.   After your product has been evaluated, we will provide you with the repair cost, and request that you approve the charges before we proceed.  Our policy requires that products sent to us be clean.  If not, we may return the product to you at our discretion, or charge extra for cleaning at Thuli Tables.  If you return your product to us for repair, shipping costs to and from Thuli Tables are your responsibility.  Please add insurance to your shipment, as Thuli Tables is not liable for a lost package or damages during shipping.  Our address is Thuli Tables, 4160 Rohowetz Road, Dodgeville, WI 53533.

Feel free to contact us with any needs.  Owners of a Thuli product receive a lifetime of friendly service.

Yes, the table height can be changed on most of our tables by purchasing a new set of table legs.  The ease of installation and cost varies with each table.  Please contact us for specifics.  The table height is the measurement from the floor to the top of the table’s cushions (not the length of the actual legs).

Due to various design and engineering considerations, drop sections must be ordered at the time of sale and cannot be added at a later time.

Flexion Distraction can be added to most Tour and Sport portable tables at anytime!  Depending on the age of the table, a Retrofit Kit may be needed.  Please contact us for details.  In addition, Lateral Flexion can also be added to the Tour (not Sport), but must be used in conjunction with Flexion Distraction.

Due to many design and engineering considerations, it is not possible to add Flexion Distraction to other Thuli tables.

If you notice that the Flexion/Extension Piston is slipping, do the following:
1. Check the cable end of the Remote Control Lever (closest to the Flexion/Extension Piston) to make sure it is secured to the tab. Also check the integrity of the cable as well. If it is not secure or you notice fraying, you can order a new Remote Control Lever.
2. Dust and debris may have collected in the mechanism. Clean it by spraying WD-40 into the slot between the tabs of the piston (located on the upper end of the shaft). For full penetration of the WD-40, flex and extend the headpiece several times by operating the Remote Control Lever on all Thuli tables (except on the Sport where you must squeeze the two tabs together). Next, lubricate the piston by applying 3-IN-ONE oil into the same area, flex and extend the headpiece several times, and repeat this lubrication process 2-3 times. If you do not apply 3-IN-ONE oil, the WD-40 may dry out the mechanism, causing the slipping to continue.
When the Remote Cable on the headpiece is replaced, a metal C-Clip will be installed.  Click here for a video demonstration.
The headpiece has two drops: forward motion drop and straight drop. If the straight drop works but the forward motion drop does not work, the black plastic “wishbone” (shape of a football goal) between the headpiece cushions is probably broken (tables built prior to July 2010). We can send you a replacement wishbone with instructions.

To prevent this in the future, the headpiece must be set to the desired drop function (straight drop or forward motion drop) before cocking the headpiece. If done in reverse order, i.e. cocked first and then drop function set, the wishbone or drop housing is vulnerable to breaking.

There are two choices for the headpiece cervical drop height:  0.35″ and 0.54″

All tables manufactured after Oct. 1, 2023 have a shorter cervical drop of 0.35″.  If you prefer a taller drop, you can simply replace the headpiece plunger a taller one (provided with all tables).

Tables built before Oct. 1, 2023 have a cervical drop height of 0.54“.  If you’d like a shorter cervical drop, you can purchase a shorter replacement plunger from Thuli Tables.

Contact Thuli Tables for installation instructions – it is easy to install yourself!

If you are experiencing an issue with the motor on your elevating table, there may be a simple solution – please refer to the Motor Check List below. At some point, however, the motor will have reached its operating capacity and must be replaced.

Our products are warranted to the original owner against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product.  If your product experiences a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace it, at our discretion, and at our cost.  Only original and unaltered products are covered.  This warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear and tear (description to follow), accidents, improper use, negligence, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.

Wear and tear “damage” is that which naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal use.  Regardless of how well you care for your product, it will eventually begin to show wear and tear.  Common examples that are not covered under warranty include color fading, abrasions or holes in the vinyl (e.g. from belt buckles) and general breakdown of materials over years.

Please note that the headpiece flexion/extension piston and the electrical motor on an elevation table (which are not manufactured by Thuli Tables) are covered by a one year warranty against manufacturing defects, and excludes normal wear & tear issues.

If your product needs repair, whether under warranty or not, please contact us.  We will determine what is needed and, at our discretion, send you either a replacement or the necessary parts (with instructions) for repairing.  We have designed our products so that replacing a part is relatively easy to do yourself or by a handy friend.  Please note that we do not cover labor costs if you hire someone to install the replacement part on your behalf.

We take pride in designing and manufacturing quality products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

If you cancel your order before it has been shipped, there is no cancellation fee if a credit card or PayPal payment has not been made.  If a payment has been made (either as a down payment or in full), there is a 6% cancellation fee to cover processing fees and, for orders with a custom color, there is an additional 25% nonrefundable cancellation fee.

After receiving your product, if you choose to make a return, please contact us within 7 days.  If the product is in perfect condition, credit will be issued less a 25% inspection/restocking fee. If the product is received in less than perfect condition, additional fees will be accessed. Please note that we do not accept returns on tables upholstered in a custom color or a product that we agreed to modify according to a customer’s request.  For tables completed with our Rush Service, the rush fees are non-refundable.  Shipping costs are also non-refundable.
