Thuli Tables is located in the beautiful rolling hills of southwest Wisconsin, one hour west of Madison. We welcome your visit at anytime!

Philosophy
Thuli Table’s philosophy is simple and straight forward. We strive to satisfy our customers by designing and building the highest quality products possible at a fair price. We are privileged to work with talented engineers and craftsmen who possess the necessary skills to make this happen. The vast majority of our orders are through referrals from satisfied customers, as a testament to our company’s philosophy.

History
Our founder and designer, Rick Thuli, D.C. has listened and responded to the needs of his profession since graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1986. He has dedicated many years to the development of a line of highly functional, extremely durable and aesthetically pleasing adjusting tables and accessories. Rick’s design and engineering expertise, coupled with his first-hand knowledge of chiropractic techniques, has resulted in products that stand in a class of their own!

Made in USA
All of our products are manufactured at our facility in Wisconsin.  For the few component parts that we must outsource, we are proud to purchase them from quality manufacturers located primarily in the USA.

Table Information / Ordering

How do I place an order?

It’s easy!  We sell directly to you (with the exception of our Japanese customers). Simply contact us by email, telephone or through our website. For website orders, please note that we do not accept payment online. When your order is submitted to us, we will reply with a quote, including the shipping cost. You will then be prompted to contact us with your payment information.


Do you ship overseas?
For international sales, we will provide the air shipping cost to your door or to an international airport for pick up.  The shipping cost does not include import duty or taxes.  UPS will serve as the broker to clear customs and will calculate these fees, which vary from country to country, and are payable to UPS prior to delivery.

Tour Caudal Drop . . . what’s that?
The Caudal Drop section is the largest section on the table, located just distal to the shorter Pelvic Drop section. It is primarily used for pelvic adjusting, either with the patient in a side posture position or a supine position with the headpiece elevated. The Caudal Drop is also conveniently located for knee and ankle adjusting. Watch this video for a visual explanation.

How do I decide on a table height?
The table height is the measurement from the floor to the top of the table’s cushions. We typically recommend a height from the floor to the bottom or middle of your patella, taking into consideration your body proportions, adjusting style and shoes that you typically wear.  This chart and video will assist you in what height is best for you.

Are there any weight limits?
Go ahead and put your biggest, heaviest patient on our tables!  We impose no weight restrictions, even on our portable tables.  In fact, they have been used to adjust Olympic weight lifters and professional basketball, baseball, and football athletes since 1986.  These are big guys!  Our Tour Conversion Base and Elevation Tables have a 900 lb weight capacity.  That should do!

Do you sell used tables?
Sorry, we only sell new tables. Most of our customers keep them for a long time – if you find a used table for sale, consider yourself lucky!

Does the IRS offer tax credits?
Elevation Tables are eligible for a significant tax credit under the IRS Disabled Access Tax Credit (Form 8826).   If your previous tax year grossed less than $1,000,000 and you had fewer than 30 full-time employees, you are considered an “eligible small business”.  The tax credit is equal to 50% of the cost of the eligible product (which exceeds $250, but does not exceed $10,250) for a maximum tax credit of $5000/year.

What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are based on the product ordered and delivery destination.  Please contact us with this information and we will promptly provide you with a shipping quote.

What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, wire transfers and checks.  Although we do not offer financing, we are happy to work with any leasing company that you employ.

User Questions

How do I clean the vinyl?
Normal day to day soil on the vinyl upholstery can be removed with neutral soap and warm water followed by a thorough water rinse.  Rinsing is important to clear all chemicals from the vinyl, which could otherwise cause premature deterioration.  Avoid harsh detergents and powdered abrasives.  Areas coming in contact with hair, body oils or perspiration should be washed frequently. Remove stains immediately to prevent the possibility of them becoming permanent.  In the event of damage, pre-sewn replacement vinyl is available from Thuli Tables.

Can I replace the vinyl?
Pre-sewn vinyl is available for any section on your table ($25/section for a standard color).  If you want to change the color of your table, now is the time!  Replacing the vinyl on most of our tables is relatively easy.  If needed, we also have tools available.

How do I lubricate the drops?
Periodic lubrication of the drop mechanisms will insure smooth, crisp drops.  We recommend that you use 3-IN-ONE oil after about 500 adjustments or once/month, whichever comes first.  If the drops have not been lubricated on a regular basis, it is recommend to first clean the plungers using WD-40.  See the Care & Maintenance PDF on each product page (located in the Reference tab).

Can I obtain replacement parts?
All of our products have been engineered to require very little maintenance and designed so that most parts can be replaced by you, if necessary.  We also provide service at our facility.  When you become a Thuli Table owner, you receive a lifetime of friendly service and attention.

Can I change the height of my table?
Yes, the table height can be changed on most of our tables.  The ease of installation and cost varies with the table.  Please contact us for specifics.  The table height is the measurement from the floor to the top of the table’s cushions (not the length of the actual legs).

Can a drop be added to my table?
Due to various design and engineering considerations, drop sections must be ordered at the time of sale and cannot be added at a later time.

Can Flexion Distraction be added to the Tour or Sport?
Yes, Flexion Distraction can be added to the Tour and Sport Portables!  In addition, Lateral Flexion can also be added to the Tour, but must be used in conjunction with Flexion Distraction.

Can Flexion Distraction be added to any table?
Due to many design and engineering considerations, Flexion Distraction is only available on our Tour and Sport Portables.

Why is the headpiece slipping?
If you notice that the Flexion/Extension Piston is slipping, do the following:
1. Check the cable end of the Remote Control Lever (closest to the Flexion/Extension Piston) to make sure it is secured to the tab. Also check the integrity of the cable as well. If it is not secure or you notice fraying, you can order a new Remote Control Lever.
2. Dust and debris may have collected in the mechanism. Clean it by spraying WD-40 into the slot between the tabs (located on the upper end of the shaft). For full penetration of the WD-40, flex and extend the headpiece several times by operating the Remote Control Lever on all Thuli tables (except on the Sport where you must squeeze the two tabs together). In the next day or two, apply 3-IN-ONE oil to the same area for lubrication. If you do not apply 3-IN-ONE oil, the WD-40 may dry out the mechanism, causing the slipping to continue.

Why is only one headpiece drop working?

The headpiece has two drops: forward motion drop and straight drop. If the straight drops works but the forward motion drop does not work, the black plastic “wishbone” (shape of a football goal) between the headpiece cushions is probably broken (tables built prior to July 2010). We can send you a replacement wishbone with instructions.

 

To prevent this in the future, the headpiece must be set to the desired drop function (straight drop or forward motion drop) before cocking the headpiece. If done in reverse order, i.e. cocked first and then drop function set, the wishbone or drop housing is vulnerable to breaking.

What is the Warranty?
Our products are manufactured to extremely high standards and are thoroughly inspected and tested prior to shipping. We offer a limited lifetime warranty on workmanship and materials, excluding normal wear and tear issues and damages from misuse. We stand behind our products and can provide technical assistance and/or replacement parts, if necessary.

What is the Return Policy?
We take pride in designing and manufacturing quality products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you choose to make a return, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. If the product is in perfect condition, credit will be issued less a 10% inspection/restocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable.  For tables with a custom color, there is an additional $200 non-refundable fee.  For tables completed with a Rush Service, the Rush fees are non-refundable.
