Pregnant Women Deserve Chiropractic Care

Posted in: Customer Stories- Oct 10, 2017 Comments Off on Pregnant Women Deserve Chiropractic Care

We believe all expectant moms should receive chiropractic care for a more comfortable pregnancy and prepare their body for birth.  But chiropractic should also be available at every birth, for every mom and every baby, everywhere. Until then, we will continue to make late-night visits for our patients.  This story is about Lindsay’s birth.  Lindsay was in labor, with broken waters and slow progression, for nearly 24 hours when her midwife and doula reached out for late-night chiropractic support. A gentle adjustment restored her normal pelvic structure and motion, releasing unnecessary tension in the uterine and pelvic floor muscles, and facilitating the progression of normal birth. Almost immediately following the adjustment, Lindsay noticed her contractions increased in frequency and intensity, and a couple hours later she welcomed baby Scarlett peacefully into her arms.  The table we use is the Thuli Tour Portable with Abdominal Swing Away.  It is fantastic!

Rehab in the Military

My Sport has served me and the US Military very well for many years.  It has traveled over 200,000 miles on an airplane, been used in many battles, and has been strapped to the top of an armored personal carrier more times than I can count.  By last count, I have used this table to rehab at least 400 permanently disabled soldiers and put them back to fully active status before they returned home.  So these 400 guys went home without a single disability, which has been my life’s greatest work.  The table has also treated 600 other soldiers injured in the line of duty, over 200 of which were injured by IED’s, and it has held up to at least 50,000 adjustments since I got it so many years ago.

When I would treat on base, soldiers would line up for hours before I got there and I would treat until they were all seen, usually a little over 150 soldiers per session.  I did this for 14 months as a volunteer, and I can say it was the best thing I have ever done with my life.  I will try and find some photos of me with my Thuli Sport on my back with the back pack straps.  The straps were made for it by the Australian SAS, as I got tired of dragging it the 1 mile onto base every time.  So, one night we shared a coffee and a cigar and they made the straps for the table.

So far my Thuli has seen the many different types of people.  I have adjust at least 40 different ambassadors from different countries, countless generals, and pentagon officials, three presidents from different countries, and a few royal people.  As far as I can tell, I am the first official chiropractor to work for the United Nations, and definitely the first official chiropractor (who is not in the military) to officially treat on a base as a chiropractor in a war zone.

Thanks for constructing such a durable and well designed product – I couldn’t have done my work without such a great table!

Today the replacement vinyl pieces arrived and I immediately installed them on the table.  What I should say, it’s Perfect!  I am a big fun to adjust with Thuli Tables, I like it…!

Zambia Medical Mission

I just returned from a 3 week medical missions program to Zambia. On my two previous trips I used a portable table from a different manufacturer and eventually had to support it with two plastic coke bottle containers as it eventually broke. This time I used one of your tables. 1010 patients later, including over 300 in 3 days, and it works and looks as good as new, even with some patients over 300 lbs. Thanks for making such a wonderful, compact table.

A Table for Champions

The first picture is from the Para Pan American Judo Championships a couple weeks ago in Brazil. This is Marissa before she won silver.

The second picture is Ron getting adjusted at the World Blind Games in Seoul in 2015. He recently took gold at the Para Pan Ams.

The last picture is Dartanyon getting adjusted at the World Blind Games.  He won bronze at the Paralympics in London in 2012 and in Rio in 2016. He is also 2014 World Champion.

I also included a pic of my trusty old Thuli Table in action in Sao Paulo 2 weeks ago.  I’ll send more pictures… The table is great, but I’m looking forward to its lightweight cousin for future travel.

Thanks again,
Zack

World Chiropractic Bike Tour

My name is Alexandre, I graduated from a chiropractic school in France in 2016.  I have since traveled by bike from France to Asia and given a lot of Chiropractic care on the road.

I am in Albania now and I plan to bike all around the world and work as a proper humanitarian organization.  I will be able to do chiropractic treatments from Europe to Asia and perhaps even further. I will start with the Syrian refugees in Greece and Turkey and then help disadvantaged people in many countries along the way.

I just received the Thuli Extremity Drop at the hostel, thank you very much! I am ready to start my world chiropractic bike tour and I am so excited!

Here are some wonderful pictures of Greece in the mountains, this is an amazing country.  Have a great day!
